Bali Bird Park was established in July 1994 and is professionally managed by a team of experts from around the world. Dedicated to the conservation of rare birds, Bali Bird Park administers a comprehensive breeding program. The park successfully breeds the rarest bird in Bali, The Bali Starling.
As an additional conservation program, the Park has a pair of rare Komodo Dragons, native to the Indonesian island of Komodo. Located on a two-hectare garden in Singapadu Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali Bird Park is an iconic conservation, recreation and education destination, attracting both international and local visitors who enjoy one of the finest collections of birds in the world, with over 1000 birds from more than 250 species. Special interactive sessions are held throughout the day.
Attracting over 100.000 visitors a year, the park has the only “Free Flight Bird Show “ in Indonesia & numerous other interactive programs daily. To compliment the bird habitat, the park is set amidst a botanical garden which displays a diverse array of tropical flora. A backdrop of ponds and waterfalls house an extensive lotus and water lily collection with assorted varieties of Heliconias interspersed with the largest collection of palm trees in Indonesia. From the Bird Park you are invited to Reptile Park to explore over 200 species showcasing crocodile, iguana, turtles, cobras, viper, and blue-tongue lizards.
